JJRC LT832-S RTR 1/32 Micro SCT Review Ever since Team Losi discontinued the Micro-T line there has been a bit of a hole in the RTR hobby grade micro RC car/truck sector of the hobby. It looks as though there may be a new product available to fill that hole. The LT832 series of cars, and trucks is a 1/32nd scale ready to run package that includes a buggy the 832B Torpedo, a stadium truck the 832T Rambler, and a short course truck the 832S Hellbender. These little rigs include a 2.4ghz radio system, a 5 wire digital proportional steering servo, and a 2 in 1 RX/ESC unit. The package includes everything you need to be up and running except four AA batteries for the radio. These vehicles appear to be 100% compatible with the Losi Micro-T line of parts, and hop ups. They all have four wheel independent suspension, a planetary gear differential, with steel out drives, and dogbones. Unlike the Losi micros these rigs come with actual wheel nuts too, instead of the dreaded c clips of old. One downside is that they come equipped with bushings instead of ball bearings, but that's easily remedied, and hard to complain about with their $36 price tag I've had a chance to run my truck a couple times now and they are great fun. They fit the bill perfectly for some garage, basement, living room bashing etc. My one complaint would be that the 5 wire servo isn't super precise, and doesn't always center correctly. A better 3 wire servo would have been very nice to see. I imagine there are even more precise 5 wire servos available that are compatible, and very inexpensive. For your basic every day bashing about it's probably not a problem. If you were looking to do some close spec class racing on an actual track though, the stock servo could be an issue. All in all, these are great little packages that are highly affordable, a lot of fun to run, and perfect for those cold, or rainy days when you can't get outside to get your RC fix. Check out the pics and video, and don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have. Stay tuned for more video and info. Happy RC'ing!
