After receiving my KingKong Fly Egg 100, and absolutely loving it, I knew I was going to have to give the Fly Egg 130 a try too. These little quads fly very well. Just like the 100mm version this 130 has a carbon fiber lower frame, with twin vertical aluminum upper plates that protect the FPV gear, and FC/ESC stack. This results in a super sturdy assembled quad that can withstand some extreme punishment. KingKong packages these in a nice plastic case that can be used to store, and transport the quad, and its accessories. The package includes the quad, a USB cable for Betaflight tuning, 2 sets of props, a couple spare battery straps, a set of prop guards, a set of motor protectors, and a 350mah 2s battery. You can get these as BNF models with most popular receiver protocols, or as a PNP model ready for your own receiver. Every time I fly my 100mm version I am amazed at just how quiet it is. I expected this 130mm version to be a good bit noisier. Much to my surprise I think the 130 is actually quieter than the 100. The 1105 7000kv motors are very smooth, and the 2840 props provide plenty of punch. The Piko BLX F3 FC, and 10A 4 in 1 BLHeli S ESC work perfectly together, and provide a very nice flying experience. I have owned quite a few KingKong quads, and I have to say that these Fly Egg models are my favorites so far. They are incredibly smooth and stable in flight, and have plenty of zip for park, and backyard flyers like myself. If you're looking for a small brushless quadcopter, these models are definitely worth considering.
